Communication is a PROCESS.
People want to be direct, honest, authentic in their expression.. but sometimes miss what needs to happen in order to be RECEIVED well and actually HEARD.
 
Yet. people never bother to learn the PROCESS of communication.
Instead of drawing others closer to them, they end up leaving a conversation annoyed and disconnected. They dont want to do the emotional intelligence work required to have effective communication, and speak authentically at the same time.
Relationships, parenting, work, teams, clients.. welp, those are never fun with friction, feeling misunderstood and feeling unheard.

This is how to be honest, clear and direct without being rude. Its how to draw people closer to us, instead of going in with the intention of being heard - and coming out disconnected and annoyed.  It's about us understanding how to navigate other peoples perspectives, whilst ensuring that they can absorb what we say.  It's what I do with clients, with my kids and in my relationships.
